While I am happy to work with clients no matter where they are in the dev process, it is NEVER too early to start thinking about PR for your indie game! Especially if it is your first game, the more time you give to building an audience, the better your odds of success!

I can mostly accept TGAs for what they are, but as an indie-focused PR company, the rumored rates for trailers at the show are criminal. Indies deserve to be celebrated on that stage just as much as the AAAs.

Tons of scammers out there prey on indie devs by posing as PR "agencies" offering to promote their games, usually trying to steal your limited cash or a bunch of game keys. Check the comment for a few red flags to vet any suspect agencies.

If you were one of the 19 people who didn't try the Battlefield 6 beta over the weekend and still need convincing, I suck at the game but it still brought me back to the old days of playing Bad Company 2.

Me: Fighting a boss with four overleveled characters, 99 potions, 99 revives, and armor that negates all elemental damage.

Boss: *Has a mechanic where it recovers 5% HP once per battle*

I had an interaction with my brother-in-law about video games from which I may never recover. At one point I brought up the new Call of Duty, to which he asked "Is that the one where you play as a table?"

It turns out his only exposure to the series is the Prop Hunt mode and I love that for him.
