About 15-years of my career has been working on health and science news. At one of my jobs we used to say "our shows aren't political... they apply to everyone since we all have health and need medical solutions..." It's WILD that medicine has gotten political. I'm not saying healthcare. Medicine.

I'm tuned into the Climate Forward event and looking for stories and work addressing the impact of climate change on mental health. What leaders, change makers, and orgs are addressing climate and mental health?

The Coalition of Autism Scientists have entered the chat:

“The data cited do not support the claim that Tylenol causes autism and leucovorin is a cure, and only stoke fear and falsely suggest hope where there is no simple answer.”

Autism experts question HHS statements on Tylenol, leucovorin
Concerns include the administration’s reliance on weak, correlational evidence rather than established research…

Unsung heroes of cities… public transit workers. On the same ride saw my bus driver defuse an angry rider, deal with ticket nonsense… and take extra care helping a rider with disabilities.

I heard about this but hadn't seen it... this is wild. Casually suggesting to kill people struggling with untreated mental illness or homelessness. Such violent comments just discourage people from getting help. #mentalhealthmatters

At Talking Volumes and tonight’s incredible author is Stacey Abrams. I love that in addition to being a gifted debater, politician, and voter rights advocate… she also writes thrillers!

Italy sounds like a dream. It's been a huge point of skepticism since vaccine manufacturers are big for-profit pharmaceutical companies.

Thousands of federal staffers working on mental health-related issues have been purged by Trump’s government.

It's all a part of the president's mental health plan: Defund, incarcerate, disappear.
