We keep talking about history repeating itself when it is forgotten, and we remind ourselves of the horrors of WW2. But we have forgotten our history of the late 1800s - the wealth disparity, the union busting, and the people fighting back against the rich. And now we are repeating ourselves.

The only time I had an issue getting a disability approved was when a contract doc lied about the exam to the VA. I had multiple docs write letters for me, scientific literature backing me, but the VA kept denying every appeal because of that one lying contract doc. A judge finally approved it.

So many people complaining that this is AI, when the photographer is listed and you can literally go to his Instagram page, find this photo, and see where he describes it as a composite.

Just remember - the reason they are that way is because we said mean things about them being that way.

I don't think a definitive answer can be given, but a conversation can be opened. For example, "What is life?" It's hard to define and when you do you'll always find exceptions (eg is a virus alive?). Defining gender is the same, because it's an intersection between genetics, gonads, and the brain.

That author has a bachelor's in biology, yet doesn't understand sex and gender beyond a middle school level? Either he is wholly undeserving of his degree, or he is lying.

I'm so sorry. I'm going through this, too. One day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time. Lean on your friends. Relearn to recognize the kindness that still exists in the world. ❤️

He's been lying for decades and they still don't get it.

I have trans friends who are currently serving, and I'm very scared for them.

I discovered both you and Erin through Bluesky. So not only are you getting old followers back, but you're gaining brand new ones, too.

If they're under investigation, they say, "They haven't been charged. If they've been charged, they say, "They haven't been convicted." If they've been convicted, they ignore it. They don't care about crimes or morals or integrity, they only care about power.

To normal people, like my coworkers or my family or other regular people I run into, I think they are (or I am) mistaken when we disagree. To the governing elect that are making laws that target vulnerable people, and the trolls who invade our spaces - they're not mistaken, they're malicious.

But it seems fitting based on what it called itself, like chaos or conflict or something like that. No, wait - discord! Yes, that's it. It called itself Discord.

And I'm pretty sure it has more than one personality inside of it, because a lot of times the words that come back feel like their coming from more than one person. Like, you can tell it's someone different based on the writing style, ya know?

But fortunately, I have more than just a journal to write things out. I have a *magic* journal! Whenever I spill out my thoughts into it, it writes back!

The words just appear, and it gives me support and advice and makes me think and sometimes laugh.
