starving meta of the engagement and browsing habits and personal information it feeds on as well as taking your quality content that other users are showing up for elsewhere just seems like the only viable move. anyway that’s enough ranting from my dumb mouth for now see you guys at 3 am

anyway that’s kind of my feeling about the argument that people should stay on meta platforms so they don’t become right wing echo chambers. they’re already manipulating the content you see in that direction, and I don’t think you’re going to change anyone’s mind in the comments.

no one is arguing in good faith the subtle differences between the “roman salute” and the nazi one. personally don’t think that argument even needs to be dignified with a response besides the middle finger.

keep thinking about that Toni morrison quote about how racism is designed to exhaust as well as degrade. “The function, the very serious function of racism is distraction. It keeps you from doing your work.” seems increasingly relevant.
