My best writing has been collaborations with my wife. How about you? Have the two of you done collaborative stuff?

My brook is about 20 feet from my door and I still keep a couple gallons of flush water under the sink for power outages. I don't want to have to walk out there in the dark or the ice or whatever! Hope you get water back soon

My least favorite when I'm facilitating is that guy--always a guy--who won't stop after the third "thank you" and I have to break out the "let's move on to the next topic" or even "let's hear what some others think"

I've been facilitating meetings in academia, local government, and non-profits for over a decade and I just started doing organizing this year and yeah, that is so true. My two least favorites are when the facilitator goes way over time or just preaches their own fave thing.

And what do you do when your period cramps are so bad you can't stand up, my guy? Oh wait . . . 🤔

Like most people, I eat food more often than I fly on an airplane. And I've been on SNAP. But rich people's pain clearly matters more than poor people's pain. It's bullshit.

What about the states that used their own money to fund SNAP, are they being penalized too?

I don't understand how they can get paid during the shutdown but air traffic controllers can't. That's some bullshit.
