Is our tax system fit to meet the challenges of AI? Been looking into France’s Contribution Sociale de Solidarité des Sociétés" (C3S), which is a social contribution tax based on the number of employees a company has. The tax rate increases as the number of employees decreases

So could a #taxation system which incentivises job creation and ensures those companies with significant earnings but a small workforce, contribute more to social programs and public services be one part of the solution to mitigate the potential negative impact of #automation & #AI

The aim of this tax is to encourage job creation and discourage companies from reducing their workforce with the intention of promoting social solidarity and employment. As AI and automation advance, there’s a significant risk of job displacement & increased income inequality.
