I got the ebook for like 2.99. The downside of this is it felt like I was making no progress. I would have read for an hour and not even made it 1% in the book. I eventually switched to the audiobook which is also very long, but it was a year long project.

I had the same pair for like 25 years. I had to buy new pads for the ears (the were over ear) they finally gave up last year and I had to find new ones because they no longer made that foldable over ear headphone from 25 years ago (they should).

The reason the term elder millennial exists is because we are saying we are not like rest of the millennials. That we have a lot in common with the youngest of the Gen Xs. The generation break down broke us up but you are only 5 years older than me certainly we have more commonality in experience

Two of my worst bullies did go away, when their parents' jobs were transferred to Alabama. Happy day for me.

Yep, my dad has restless leg syndrome and my brother can't stand any sort of eating noises. When he was little he would yell from his room (that was unfortunately off the kitchen) that our spoons were too loud when eating cereal.

I get that. It was okay when I worked at a movie theater and it's okay now that I'm a lawyer. I think the idea is that smart women read romance. Those smart women don't necessarily all have advanced degrees, but that's the only way outsiders will believe us when we say we're smart.

One assumes David and Victoria Beckham are "not blood" but have created a family together over time, and now they are being creepy and not letting that family grow.

care for parents expecting grandparents to drop everything to provide daycare, as I think my brother is still slightly upset that my mom wouldn't retire and watch my niece when she was daycare age.

I mean they did ask and were told grandparents wanted in, then after planning around that grandparents completely changed their mind. To the point where not only do they not provide the regular child care they promised but they have never watched their children. It is a little egregious. And I don't

What they have to pay for in the divorce (which doesn't come close to what a custodial mother is paying) is the kids. If you separate with kids and no marriage you will still have to pay child support.
