I think a lot of this and the discussion around it could be seen through the lens of the economic hype cycle running too hot, there are regular "bubbles" and bursts overtime - but everyone in big tech piled in this round and will keep fanning the flames until the next cycle starts and they can jump
there should be a word for the economy other than "bubble" if everyone acknowledging it's a bubble doesn't pop it. popping really easily is kind of the thing bubbles are known for. there's no such thing as a resilient bubble you can keep poking for months/years
