It's 2025, and Google's darling child, Gemini, STILL gets timezone math wrong. The correct answer is 9PM AEDT or 8PM AEST. It can't tell whether daylight savings is in effect, and it got AEST and AEDT back to front anyway.

Couldn't it do this properly just fine before they moved to AI overviews?

My account has been reinstated, thankfully! No idea why exactly the enforcement occurred in the first place, or whether this is a permanent stain on my record (I suspect it is, given the phrasing "account can be reinstated").

Awful experience, but I'll settle for having my account back again!

Just got "indefinitely suspended" on Twitch for "fraud". My appeal was automatically and immediately rejected. I'm thinking hacked account, but can't tell, can't even check my data export because I can't log in.
