Weird couple of days of one on one with my elder in the land of pump your own gas and plastic straws. Few more days here. It's weird going "home" with unloaded trauma. I highly recommend it. The world doesn't have to completely burn down.

Yesterday was a bottom of the emotional barrel for my mental health. I've been cutting out social media in bite sizes. Yesterday was my turning off reddit and bluesky (on here for a moment now). I sat with family, picked up a book and played some vid games. I feel like I'm going to survive today.

One of my favorite parts of almost every morning is taking a picture of Emrys sleeping. He sets the mood for the day by his level of cozy. If he's up, I know we're getting shit done. If he's burrowed, it's a trapped til noon. #orangecats
