They are creating a horrific situation where communities will turn on this country and retaliate in a violent way, and frankly I wouldn’t blame them. Which is apparently the goal so they can ban people and criminalize whole demographics. It’s sick.

Oh no, he hates Trump. He’s a VP of his company and his wife is a pilot for Alaska Airlines. They are very socially liberal. My brother does the fiscally conservative BS narrative that goes in the face of socially liberal. But he isn’t MAGA and hates this admin.

No he’s not. He is kind of on the border of Reagan republicans and also voted for Obama. His wife is progressive like me which makes everything complicated. My SIL pushed her hard over the BLM outrage, which we supported. My bro is a mommas boy and will always support her financially.

I’m to the point that even surface level communications are difficult because everything is political now. Reality tv, which is what we could talk about, but even that turns political. I’m very close to no contact.

Ha, she is getting his SS and hers. And is on Medicare. My brother is loaded and bails her out when she needs help. Mostly for housing, which I can accept, but like how do you not see that you are being screwed by the person you voted for? Cognitive dissonance is astounding.

I pointed the Fox settlement to her and she was dismissive. Luckily, it’s just her that is MAGA. My dad was the reason she became MAGA and passed away a few years ago. They both got Covid and were close to hospitalization. 😑 She blames the Covid vaccine we convinced them to take. Absolute insanity.
