Appreciate good books, good journalism, good sense, good humor, good thoughts, and bad poetry. Egalitarian, open-minded within reason, radical centrist currently caucusing with Democrats. And so on and so forth.
Lock him in a room with this little play set and let him pretend he's a big, brave soldier. He can have two.

Have we had a nasty Trump-toot yet?

Garbage from Hobby Lobby plus a couple of cans of off-brand gold spray paint equals a cheap attempt to pretend he lives at the Palace at Versailles.

Put him in charge of his boss's security detail.

I'll bet the seven Catholic justices on the Suprem Court found his joke hilarious.

... "shared sacrifice*"... * does not include mansions, yachts, private jets, golf trips.

Hard to believe The Onion is still in business. It's become almost impossible to write satire.
May 2, 2025 at 9:23 PM
Sure. Let's put the sadistic ghoul with a hard-on for concentration camps in charge of national security. What could possibly go wrong?

He's been trying to mimic Versailles with a can of gold Rustoleum since the 1980s.

Sounds like a third grader giving a book report on the book he never read.

Very Biblical, actually.

I honestly don't care what his politics or political aspirations are at this point. It's refreshing to see a politician speak his mind without equivocating or giving an inch of ground.

Tomorrow Leavitt promises to play a quick game of Fuck, Marry, Kill.

Dems should wake up every morning and draw lots as to who will file today's articles of impeachment based on yeaterday's infractions. Plenty to go around.

I'm somewhat jaded because I used to shop at Vons until I finally got fed up enough to drive to a better store out of my way. They did this every couple of years with no rhyme or reason and you had to hunt down help.
April 27, 2025 at 10:33 PM
I firmly believe that grocery stores do this regularly so that you have to wander around to find things. The more you wander, the more you put in your cart.

Infringement for thee, but not for me.

There are a lot of Jesuit scientists, including in the fields of astrophysics and the environment. They are quite able to embrace all scientific knowledge, if only as a way to better understand their God. Social justice is a big deal to them and they see science as a way of achieving that.

Pope Francis was a Jesuit. I've often felt that Jesuits, if not actually atheists, had some doubts, but thought Jesus was a wise man whose teachings they felt they could dedicate their lives to.
