Same! My daughter’s in law have started baking sourdough. I haven’t mastered it yet, but they are experts and enjoy doing it. I love that they are enjoying the process.

Love this so much. I always say I love baking because it’s soothing to me, and it makes others happy when eating it. Win-win. Sounds like you won over your father in law with your scrumptious baking.

Yes, I’m Italian too, and my grandmother used to have us eat unusual foods as a kid, probably why I love it. 😆 I used to make it often, but it wasn’t in the “official” mold, so I’m looking forward to seeing your results, which are always amazing!
