Im really gonna get shanked for this one but why even give GOTY to E33, let alone nominate it in the first place? E33's controversy was definitely known. It wasnt this dark secret that was discovered recently. Other games could've taken E33's slots.
The IGAs Nomination Committee is officially retracting Debut Game and Game of the Year, awarding both categories to new recipients. Additionally, we are retracting one of the Indie Vanguard recipients.
