The entire time we were safe at home so it’s hard to put a name to whatever kind of trauma this is, because we were never personally in danger but holy shit just watching my child talk another child through THAT I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck

Luckily teen is very mental health positive and is engaging with counselors and support

She called us right after it happened before she called the police & Elle (my teen) had to talk her through leaving the house & calling 911. Theres definitely trauma related to that but mostly it’s anxiety that although we know friend is safe, we haven’t been able to contact her since police came
