Obviously the cause has to be found, however the vulnerability and lack of resilience surrounding critical infrastructure is very concerning. A COBRA meeting should be happening IMOP.

Ouch, being dropped with what 200k to go! a lonely day or releived and relaxed gupetto, that's if they don't just abandon? What's the form here on one day races anyone know? I would expect most teams would push encourage riders to finish as I would hope the riders intent to.

its very sad for the child and im sure the parents, but the dots amd reasons have to be connected. Very painful way to learn this important lesson that Vaccines work.
