I’m so in your camp when trying to sleep. But then once I actually get up to the 3:30am alarm and am on my way to the airport, I’m so happy that I will be arriving (my usual is California to Baltimore) in time to still have the evening where I arrived. So I remain conflicted on what I prefer.

Many people were raised by decent parents and on their own went down a very different road. Not my children, thankfully, but I don’t think other parents are garbage because of the choices their adult children make. (Some are garbage, of course, but evil kids weren’t always raised by evil parents.)
