Very interesting take. I'm in the province of Quebec and we are one of the few jurisdiction in North America without HEMS. Provincial gvmt is actively working at implementing helicopter transport for interfacility transfers. It will be a great opportunity for research on the benefits of HEMS.

Never seen a loading for this but then again clinicians around here use metolazone most of the time for fluid removal. If there is evidence out there of increased benefit and w/o increase in risk using the loading, I'm listening.
