What a shitty neighbourhood

The main issue is that the streaming seasons are too short so the characters don't get to develop through dozens of side stories.

Instead, they are shoehorned into the service of 10 episode arcs.

....which is how shows develop really well rounded characters, which the actors symbioticly develop into.

Instead, streaming, especially, with a 10 episode arch, have b-stories which really are grafted on, instead of paying off dividends later.

The franchise is looking more like a franchise, and less like a reboot.

The reboot mentality is typified by the importense of some A-story which is supposed to justify its existence but ultimately destroys the shows ability to alchemise character development through the episodic format...
