Senate Dems … I understand how millions are suffering under this shutdown but the Republicans only lie and the Dems have political leverage after this election. Yes, SNAP needs full permanent funding. Yes, the ACA needs the subsidies. But the Repubs cannot be trusted. They DO NOT CARE.

Do you notice that Trump always follows up a compliment with a twisted, backhanded critique or expose in the form of a “joke?” He can never let a compliment just sit because that would draw too much attention from him.

No amount of Israeli adoration will ever satisfy Trump’ hollow soul. He is an extreme narcissist whose lust for praise guides all his retribution and cruelty. Behind the scenes, I wonder what secret deals he has made with Netanyahu. What statesman never stops congratulating himself?

In the early 70s, I travelled to Guatemala and Honduras. I was shocked to see soldiers with automatic rifles standing vigilant on many street corners. Roving trucks of soldiers grabbed 15 year olds off the streets and threw them into conscription. No free press. We are a new Banana Republic.

Having been born just as some vaccines were being introduced, I was overlooked and never given the Measles/Mumps/ Rubella vaccine. As a consequence, I suffered each of these diseases as an adult. Listen to real Virology scientists. Childhood vaccines truly save lives and avoid much suffering.

I’m a lifelong Democrat welcoming David Jolly to the party and wishing him much success in his bid for Florida Governor. His calm , gentlemanly manner, compassion, common sense views and pragmatic approach to policy is just what Florida needs.

This is indeed a quandary. Do we support Israel with our bunker bombs or continue diplomatic efforts? Do we listen to the US intelligence community or believe Netanyahu when he said Iran is weeks away from uranium completion? Do Trump and Netanyahu have a hidden agenda? Who to trust?

We need more Al Greens. Imagine if more Democrats stood up and protested tonight. They would have stopped the avalanche of lies coming from Trump.
