Apparently it's because all of the calculations are tied to the frame rate
so they would have to do a lot more work than some people might think to just increase the frame rate

That was a scam going around on discord
One of my friend's account got taken away and the scammer tried to use that scheme on me
But I already knew he doesn't have access to the account anymore and I watch a Youtuber talking about the scams
