My thoughts on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) causation:
1. It's likely not a single condition with a single cause.
2. Parental & *grandparental* age show moderate non-linear correlations.
3. People don't want MECHANISMS, they want something to BLAME, which makes the research fraught & emotional.
