Navigating through the end of one journey - grad school - and the beginning of ... I don't really know!
Saw a post that Google maps had updated the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. I had to check for myself. Tech bros sticking together to support 47. Ridiculous.

Yay, federal courts! It always fascinates me that anything 47 & his cronies accuse others of doing is actually what THEY’RE doing. Trying to stage a coup: check. Weaponizing [insert dept]: check. It’s all trying to deflect from their actions.

I’m angry about Musk’s power grab too. I hear you. I see your letters and hear your calls.

I’m putting pressure on Republicans and you should be too. We’re going to use every tool in our toolbox to organize and fight this.

More to come — stay tuned.

Since the election, I've struggled with how to represent my views about this administration on social media. I've decided to focus on actionable information that people can use and analysis/opinions that provide insight. This doesn't imply criticism of anyone else! No one's process is good or bad.

1. Let's be clear

A central premise of the Trump admin is there is pervasive discrimination against hard-working white men, who are being replaced by less-qualified women and minorities

So over the last 2 weeks Trump has implemented an aggressive affirmative action program for white men
Affirmative action for white men
Since taking office on January 20, President Donald Trump has targeted so-called "diversity, equity, and inclusion" programs, also known as DEI.

Watching the Star Trek movie, Section 31. I’m a Star Trek fan but this movie was pretty meh. Still, I’d be interested in seeing it made into a series where they developed the characters more.
