Our protest was scheduled early in the day, before Gov. Walz asked people to stay home from rallies due to the assassination this morning 💕

I understand why Gov. Walz has asked people not to go to protests for safety (officers are stretched thin), but I stand today in honor of Sen. Hortman and her husband, assassinated this morning. She worked hard to make life better for all Minnesotans.
