I got to read an early copy of She Made Herself a Monster by Anna Kovatcheva and really enjoyed it. If you like dark weird historical fiction with complex characters and lovely turns of phrase, mark this one for February.

I snagged a BlueSky account ~1 year ago to see what it was about (and ostensibly to promote my books). I then, for personal reasons, took a social media break. Tonight, I decided on a whim to tune back in. It's wild (and terrifying) how the world can impact our perspectives in so short a time.

All foreign students in the US should shut down their social media accounts ASAP. The State Dept is using bogus AI to select people for arrest and deportation.

Who do I hire to teach me how to do that sexy posh British way of eating?
