Donald Trump must listen to state and local officials who know their communities best and immediately withdraw the National Guard and the Marines, and focus immigration enforcement on those involved in crime or gangs, not on hard-working, law-abiding immigrants.

We cannot stand by while the president tests the limits of our democracy. I stand with California, the state and local law enforcement officers who are working to maintain the peace, and our servicemembers.
