The Tadpoles in Auriga shot in narrow band SHO (Sulfur, Hydrogen, Oxygen) from my backyard during last night's #Astrophotography 🔭📷 session. Slightly psychedelic colors but I like those 🫠. The stars are RGB though. Am I spot on @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social ?

Levé à 3h30 jusqu'à l'aube à 6h30.
J'ai eu des nuages jusqu'à 4h30-5h mais j'ai tout de même 40x120s d'exploitable.
Par contre je n'arrive pas à traiter plus de 5-10 raw sans avoir trop de traces de fond de ciel.
Je pense qu'il devait rester des nuages fins sur le fond de ciel.

Je pensais plutôt au niveau de détails dans les nébulosités, plus facile à obtenir je pense avec ta focale et ton rapport f/D 😜

J'espère arriver à un résultat aussi proche que celui du maître :)
Par contre tu vois nettement le gain d'avoir un belle focale + du mono.

The bane of all #astrophotography 🔭 📷 amateurs is stars throwing a tantrum right next to tiny, delicate, nebulae...Navi is such a star, glowing from just beyond the top left corner of this image of the Ghost of Cassiopeia #IC63 I shot from my backyard 🙂. What do you see @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social

$The Ghost of Cassiopeia nebula shot with a 130mm Astro-Physics refractor and a dedicated cooled Poseidon-M monochrome astronomy camera. Filters used were RGB Antlia V-Pro filters for the RGB stars, and Baader 6.5nm narrow band H-alpha and OIII filters for the emission lines of hydrogen and oxygen. Narrowband images : 139x120s for H-alpha, 109x120s for OIII. RGB images : 60x30s for each RGB channel.$

Le CPU a tourné toute l'après-midi mais le rendu est horriblement désastreux 😅

☄️J'ai réussi à la capturer !
2h de pause à traiter mais ça va être un régal.
4h si je compte les nuages.

J'ai commencé l'astro pour capturer ce type de moments, où suivre une comète est un réel défi.

Au passage j'adore ce petit plugin Orbital de NINA, merci @astroaure.bsky.social pour le tips.

Ah zut. Moi c'est le crop des bords que j'ai du faire à cause de la rotation sur plusieurs semaines/mois de la Terre.
Par contre j'ai une Navi en RGB qui va être magnifique 🤩. Un Flare tel si j'avais un Newton avec des multi aigrettes.

La boucle autour du Phantom de Cassiopée commence à ressortir après plusieurs sessions.

Et de belles étoiles RGB, ionisant ces nuages de gaz d'un bleuté particulier. ✨
