I'm not a genocide denier. what happened in germany during WWII was absolutely disgusting. That the victims of such an atrocity would commit genocide a mere 75 years later is hard to phantom.

I don't think Hamas' actions fit definition of genocide. It seems objective was to capture hostages to negotiate release of Palestinians held by Israel.
Is there any evidence to suggest victims murdered by Hamas on Oct. 7 were simply not murdered for being non compliant (still a serious warcrime)?
