Not all of his points are off the mark, but he is a wild, obnoxious extremist, and also a hypocrite if you do some research (as I once did for an article.)

But more to the point: no good new music since 1983. Truly, all of it blows. Gilmour isn't super prolific, but his output is strong.

Hmnnn....I have been keeping my head in the sand on this after the PTSD of Discovery (still have not watched S5) and Section 31. I am still on the fence after reading what you wrote. Will circle back after ep 5 or so. I do want to see Giamatti and the poet Klingon, but the rest sounds aggravating.
