As I wrote in @jhppl.bsky.social (read.dukeupress.edu/jhppl/articl...) and in my forthcoming book (pre-order it now! www.cambridge.org/core/books/c...), prior authorization is a big source of administrative burden in health care. If AI tools yield wrongful denials, this will hurt patients & doctors.
