Republican officials are getting a lot of air time to express their concern for political violence and hateful rhetoric. What did these people say and do about the Democratic assassinations in Minnesota? Now hate-filled utterances must be erased so we can move forward in peace. I abhor hypocrisy.

Imagine if every incident of gun violence in this country caused the same level of outrage. The overwhelming reality of this plague has been lost as the lives become numbers and we move on to the next.

So I go to our pharmacy and am told I cannot get the Covid vaccine without a prescription. So I call our clinic and am told the doctors are unable to issue prescriptions for the Covid vaccine. They are trying to figure how they can be allowed to issue them, but so far cannot do so. MAGA really?

The idiot spokesman at the Pentagon explains the pause in providing defensive weapons to Ukraine because “We can’t give weapons to everyone around the world.” No one is asking us to do that. Most support for Ukraine are materials produced here benefiting companies financially and creating jobs.

Our Abby was abandoned at the doorstep of the preschool in Austin where my wife taught. She has made many friends there and in Reston, VA where we now live.
