Ever had a windows audio device that was way too loud at 100% and only the first 15% of the slider was useful? Using Equalizer APO and Peace you can set a negative pre-amplification that will limit your volume to acceptable levels. I use -30 dB and now 100% volume is my ideal max comfortable volume.

I think what is likely to happen is that Windows 11 Xbox app will get a console/handheld layout. Steam will be further integrated, but the Xbox app will act as a launcher. This will shore up the deficiencies in Windows 11 PC handheld support.
