What is personalized learning (PL)? Tons of PL products were created more than a decades ago. How come the learning still feels not so? I suspect they serve as a proxy to PL, with a large initial gap. Over time, it shrinks and hopes to converge towards 0 as AI models become more capable.

My writing class talked about the power of a positive no (a book by William Ury): every no is a yes somewhere else. I thought - wow that is powerful and really hard to do in reality. If you did it, kudos.

Vibe coding or not?
I have integrated Cursor into my daily coding workflow, which provides great value in following use cases:
- auto-complete
- scoped function implementation (clear input/output, similar to existing functions)
- one-off data processing tasks (silo scripts)
- migration

Vibe coding is totally a thing. In the past week, I was able to launch 1) an internal tool for data scraping + the nextjs front end to support human review and 2) my personal finance dashboard (much better UX than spreadsheet). Great productivity boost for a backend engineer like me.
