This time around, I'd bet on at least 3 years, but not too much - and I'd say "finally!!", because I can't wait to see how it all pans out. It seems they're on their way to the last place.

It also doubles as a great example of what an adaptation should do. I've seen my share of "but this movie is missing the lower half of page 67 of etc.", and it's usually a waste of time.

Right? It's crazy, but understandable, how the author kept things interesting along the way. Many cool foreshadowing opportunities, whether by design or cleverness, made for an exciting work to follow. And it's on its last stretch (whatever tht means...)

It's uncanny how well it works. Also, I think it benefits from the series' longevity and ever-expanding lore. It allows the creators to filter and distill what actually matters in the long run.
