Love that Greenlanders are playing it as well as Venezuelans per the comments! Hard times lead to great art - bummer we are going through this but the art helps keep us strong and focused and united!

I’ve never used TikTok and never will but those who do should take note of the new privacy terms. Wired story here - sorry I don’t have a gift link. I’d read the terms before agreeing!

Only Murders in the Building is fun. Also I enjoyed Emily in Paris.

Just finished episode 6 of 8 of Mussolini: Son of a Century. Not funny but really good, and the production is quite theatrical. Feels like some group of people stole the script. First time using Mubi too - I like it

I just finished it now. It's an enduring stain on the nation, and it's sickening that so many running down a dark path with their eyes wide open, spouting similar lies and misinformation. It's a great podcast and I learned so much.

Agree! A great interview and "coalition of the unwilling" is spot on. I'll borrow that term as it applies to so many things these days.

Actually reminds me of a tour I took once in Amsterdam's red light district, the bleak, utilitarian rooms. It was a fun but surreal midnight tour on Christmas Eve.

Love the show! It hasn’t updated on Apple Podcast this week yet for me. Is there a tech issue?
