No.

-No medical reason. Current vax has no safety issues and works very well
-Kids don’t like needles. Why give them 3x the shots?
-Peds office already have limited bandwidth. Who staffs 3x the visits?

As I posted yesterday, @jvl.bsky.social is spot-on in terms of D strategy to win the shutdown (is.gd/aHOuD6).

Make Trump/Rs *own this*, not save them from the BBB (ACA subsidies/Medicaid cuts), full ICE funding, etc. Trump will use rescissions to cut what he wants anyway, so go to the wall...

Some ideas:

* A legislative end to “Kavanaugh stops.”

* Ending qualified immunity for federal law enforcement officers.

* Mandating that federal law enforcement officers cannot wear masks and must display identifying badges/markings at all times.

* Closing the “emergency” loopholes that the administration has claimed for everything from tariffs to acts of war.

* Removing the secretary of state’s discretionary power to revoke visas.

Or my personal favorite:

* Release all of the Epstein files.
