The Parisian is new to me and I see it’s available at my library!

Done! Our library is the hub of our small town. It buzzes with all sorts of activities, from Te Reo, to Lego Club, to art exhibitions. And then there are the books!

Only draw back is, it’s so readable I have to put the brakes on in order to absorb the insights, do the thinking, and get the most from it #booksky#pukapuka #Chekhov #GeorgeSaunders

I’ve forgotten now, where I heard about it - which is often the case and frustrating - time I kept a note of these things. Knowing actually makes a difference to me, especially about the books that impress me. Also, yay for persistence and bravery!

I’m looking forward to this - when my turn comes. The reserve list is long, and moving slowly.

I reckon Parry’s Uriah Heep is a very smart read. Hadn’t heard of Pins, till now.
