Maybe, just maybe, the Mars aspirations are cover for military rocket aspirations, and his AI data centers and proposed nuclear facilities are for the same military purposes.

Nah, that’s ridiculous. Living on Mars seems much more plausible.

He is not surrendering to authoritarianism. He is positioning himself to become THE authoritarian.

He controls a major media outlet and can buy more, has personal data on most of the world, access to military tech, rocket capability, and will soon have nuclear capability.

Same for Musk.

If he'd won the 2020 election, we wouldn't be guilty of election interference, hording classified documents, or fomenting an uprising / attempted coup.

If not, and if Dems take the House in the midterms, he may face conviction and prison time for those felonies.

This is what's really at stake.

Books often start with a somewhat urgent scene and have later scenes that are contemplative or reflective. The first paragraph doesn’t set the pace for the entire work. I fear you may be missing out on some great books.

This is very similar to the recipe I use at our B&B. I have a couple secret ingredients I don’t share, but I will share this tip. Try grating frozen butter. I won’t bore you with the physics behind why this works, just try it. Makes a big difference.
