There were SO MANY squirrels in the park today. It started to get kinda weird. It was like that movie The Birds but with squirrels. In that last picture, the little guy was running right towards me & then stopped. I think he wanted to fight.

seriously sad about the no-more-pennies thing. probably because one of my favorite souvenirs when I go somewhere is to get a squashed penny. I collect them. What's going to happen to those machines? I hope they're retrofitted for nickels now.

Had my first sit-down meal at Barney Greengrass today. The meal was perfection. & our waiter has been working there 34 years! (They opened in 1908!)

OK, so it looks like Purdue didn't print the forbidden issue of IU's newspaper. They printed a solidarity issue of their own newspaper, with editors from IU's newspaper contributing. so it really was a joint effort. Go Purdue and IU!!
