You’re may need to limit your layers. I find watercolor ground difficult to apply multiple glazes to and also to pull fine details. (That may be user error however.)

I cannot wait to see what you think of the pastel ones from Daiso! I was disappointed in the color payout, and when I panned them they dried up into nothing. 🤣 Literally, there were a few dried bits stuck to the edges of the pan, but that’s it. I’d never seen shrinkage that bad before!

I like to hit up a local museum or a gallery or two-they usually have good a/c, and it inspires me to see what other folks are creating.

Adorable! My favorite detail is the cat and the butterfly on the very end. I love the way you did the various layers of landscape.
