For the “Christians” weaponizing my faith to justify following a man who is antithetical to the teaching of Christ, and there are quite a few here in Alabama, maybe check out Ben Cremer. Every post breathes life into me as I struggle to understand what passes for Christianity these days.
When we Christians are more known for our support of presidents than we are for our support of the poor, the immigrant, the marginalized, and the oppressed, that is when we know we are following someone other than Jesus and we have a lot of repenting to do.
