Then please explain why non Chinese ones are so expensive, especially when battery technology is rapidly improving and getting cheaper.

To be fair to Sussan, I think it is Dutton and the Liberal Party more generally, that have given this legacy. Sussan is just the one holding the hot potato which is very ironic given the that it is the Liberal men that created the mess (think of those talented Liberal women that are now Teal reps)
