Thrilled to announce that the Alliance For Canadian Musicals will return to Theatre Passe Muraille as an all-Canadian Musical Satellite Venue for the 2026 Toronto Fringe, Jun 30 - Jul 12. Selection will be by lottery and applications are open NOW until Jan 9, 2026.

Oh, happy day: Kevin Wong’s luminous, wrenching musical Soft Magical Tofu Boy(s) has been programmed as part of the Festival of New Musicals in New York.
A year ago (?!), I watched a workshop of this show in a converted barn in CT and hoped hard that I’d get to see it again. This is huge.

We just heard the announcement that Eclipse Theatre in Toronto has had a change in leadership. And they have announced that there will be a new Concert Production of The Canadian Musical EMILY, by Marek Norman and Richard Ouzounian. Here is a song from that show.
