I realised I was stuck in a rut about 2008 listening to my college/uni music from 95-2002. Made a decision to listen to new stuff, and I couldn't be happier. Most of the music I listen to now is from the last 2 or 3 years and constantly being added to. New favourite bands discovered all the time.
