This is a really powerful reminder of what football clubs mean to their communities. Every team is a unique and valuable part of the pyramid, and none must be allowed to collapse through owner mismanagement or intransigence.

It's taken far too long for the rest of football to get interested in Morecambe's plight, but it has finally happened. Respect to the club's supporters for keeping up the fight and helping make Jason Whittingham famous.

Pardon my french, but look at this bullshit. Effortwise, this is maybe 1.5 out of 10 for magicking up a global company.

The ownership fiasco at Morecambe is such a soap opera, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if JW turns round this week & claims he’s sourced sufficient funding to keep the club going & takes the club off sale! Such is his lack of business acumen, moral compass & common sense. Or he gets sectioned.
