The DVD has a solid third-party commentary from Roger Ebert. It is not as good as his commentary on Citizen Kane, but it is solid!

I have visited the Dalles a few times. It is a great community.

I agree if you are purely looking at it for an adrenaline rush of scares.

However, this is the only genre that lets the filmmakers play. Look at the gritty dramas in the early 70s. Those days are gone.
