I’ll be shopping at the cheap grocery store for the next month after taking Scout to the vet for annual rabies shot and check up. She’s worth it.

Recently finished Skeleton Crew which is a book of short stories. Ballad of the Fexible Bullet, The Jaunt, The Mist, The Monkey and The Raft. The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands and Uncle Otto’s Truck were stand outs to me. the Mist as a movie is scary. The Raft is part of Creepshow 2.

This maple tree in my front yard is showing off its autumn colors. Notice the sun’s rays shining through on the third photo. The colors are brilliant.

Did you know there is such a thing as typing dyslexia? I’ve noticed it with my own typing within recent months. Here my typing is fine, however I’ve noticed letters in recent emails/posts have switched positions. Hmmm 🤔.

Current read: Fellow Travelers. It’s mainly fiction yet mentions some notable politicians in the ‘50s and ‘60s. There is a one season run streaming show with Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey I’ve yet to see. I always like to read the book version first.
