Kudos to Western Michigan on winning its first NCAA Men's Hockey Championship in the 52-year history of the program. The team represented all former Broncos, including brothers
John Saunders (1974-76) of ESPN and ABC fame, and Bernie Saunders (1975-79) just the fifth Black player to reach the NHL.

I had a great vantage point for Cole Knuble's goal which put Notre Dame ahead 3-1 en route to a 4-1 victory over Minnesota in the deciding game of the Big 10 first round.

A great victory for Coach Jackson and the boys. On to MSU for the Big 10 semi-final next weekend.
