Beekeeper, retd veterinarian, ex-eurocrat. Posting mainly on Ukraine, Brexitty things, and sadly can't avoid Trump .

I check follower accounts before following back. So no crypto/investment 'advisors', conspiracy theorists, MAGAs, proto russian trolls etc
The irony is that Social Media could be a force for incredible good instead of spreading hate and division in the name of 'engagement' and profits.

And why would a drug boat be carrying 11 people?

They take up space, add weight, reduce speed and range....
December 3, 2025 at 8:25 AM
The 28 point plan was the russian plan given to Witkoff?

So this means the US didn't make changes? Unless the other documents were the US plan and the European plan....

And the personal Trump plan about 'business'...

WoW! A Royal Decree!

There is no war. So the rules of war are irrelevant. But if there was a war it would be a war crime.

Since there isn't a war, it was murder.

If Bradley passed on the order he has to answer for his actions.

He was supposed to be the adult in the room.
December 2, 2025 at 5:13 PM
As expected.

Remember this;

Even in a war it is specifically a war crime to murder shipwreck survivors.

In fact this is the example of an unambiguous war crime given in US militrary instructions.
December 2, 2025 at 4:28 PM
The Admiral was the adult in the room.

If civilians were murdered on his instructions, he has to take the consequences, whether Hegseth ordered it or not.
December 2, 2025 at 3:31 PM
Officially It is the Department of Defense but trading as Dept of War.
December 2, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Even if they were drug smugglers it doesn't matter. Its still murder.
But why would drug smugglers carry so many people on board?
It's extra weight and only slows the boat...
December 2, 2025 at 12:38 PM
Hegseth does not have any authority to carry out extrajudicial killings.
Especially of civilians in international waters.

Smuggling, if they were, even of drugs, is not a capital offense, and even if it was the alleged smuggler is entitled to their day in court.

The EU have the bulk of the frozen funds.

They can insist that they be used for reparations and reconstruction.

Otherwise Putin will sign anything to get the assets back. And then he will renege on the deal.
December 2, 2025 at 12:23 PM
The US system has been shown to be faulty and not robust. UK too.
Both essentially two party systems without PR.
December 2, 2025 at 9:09 AM
True, but Xi might gamble like Putin did that it will be a 3 day operation and then everything returns to normal.

But I don't think Xi is a gambler.

Russia today is nothing like russia four years ago, thanks to Ukraine.
A hot war with russia will likely be missile based.
December 2, 2025 at 9:02 AM
Also planning to meet Dim Philby (Witkoff) there on his way to see Putin.
December 2, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Not only the risk of prison but whatever happened to the military code of ethics and honor?
December 2, 2025 at 8:05 AM
Even if he had verifiable orders from above it was still wrong. They were civilian non combatants in international waters.
December 2, 2025 at 8:02 AM
Bradley was supposed to be the adult in the room.

If he failed in this, he deserves his fate.
December 2, 2025 at 7:59 AM
It won't protect Hegseth but Bradley had one job. It was to be the adult in the room.
He should have refused an order to kill civilians in international waters.
So what if he got fired? Military are supposed to offer their lives for what is right, only his pension was at risk.
December 2, 2025 at 7:32 AM
If Bradley gave this order or passed it on, then he deserves to see the underside of the bus.
And this doesn't absolve Hegseth in any way.
But Bradley was the adult in the room.
