Unemployment rate probably not increasing as fast as it should because of workers being removed from labor force through deportation. And you have to subsequently wonder how much potential labor is sitting on its hands, hiding, due to fear of deportation.

Does the idiot-in-chief realize the most recent Federal Reserve vote to maintain rates at current levels was 9-2? The only two members who dissented are Trump sycophants who are auditioning to be the next Fed Chair.

The Fed last cut rates IN DECEMBER WHEN TRUMP WAS THE PRESIDENT ELECT. They only paused once Trump’s tariff policies began to be enacted resulting in the uncertainty that exists today. Based on recent grocery price trends, I don’t think the inflation genie is back in the bottle yet.

The obvious unintended consequence would be to create a powerful incentive for big money donors to take over churches and turn them into arms of a political campaign. end/

Will be interesting to see if this opens a loophole of sorts where theoretically, campaign finance spending could now be directed to churches, enabling donors to get a tax deduction (vs donating to political parties and action groups which cannot offer that benefit). 1/

Why is it that all of the horrible stuff—deadly hurricanes, tornados, fires, floods, mass shootings, earthquakes—are never God's fault, but if giving God credit for something makes their point then it's always God's doing?

I became captive to birds and bird photography during covid. Haven’t looked back since.

Exactly. They’re not resilient. Throughout our country’s history anything with staying power has always been accomplished through bipartisan legislation.
